Alien Conspiracy Inspired Chiptunes
I’ve been spending my free time lately looking at the stars, studying topo maps of mars, and reading alien abductee reports. I’ve also been making a lot of music.
With a new dubstep and noise album in the works, I’ve decided to go for an early 2011 trifecta by releasing an album focused on aliens and chip music. The new album is online today as a free download:

Digital Vomit Records DVR076 – Beytah – Phobos Monolith
Download my of lo-fi 8bit tunage made in lsdj tracker on a gameboy! This five track release spans a variety of genres like dubstep, electro, dnb, breakcore and gabber hardcore. Its also available on a limited run of 50 3″ cds. I will be selling them and handing them out at some upcoming shows.
Here are a few tracks from the album that I tossed on youtube with different types of sound visualizations. The first one is the tracker itself playing the tune, next is the waveforms played back in soundforge at different zoom levels, and third is spectrum bars from windows media player:

Tripped out effects and sick lyrics
I helped with some of the effects on a recent music video for Oaklyn Records artist Azeem. The video was directed by Erica Nelson and features music by Bay Area veterans Meat Beat Manifesto. Check it out!

Psychedelic 3D music video
This video contains six and a half minutes of 3d animation and multimedia compositing. It all started when a friend Evan a.k.a. Tha Fruitbat asked Erica Nelson and I to make a music video for him, almost a year ago.

Ancient coastal redwood forest
While living in SF, I had the opportunity to get some footage of Muir Woods, one of my favorite parks in the Bay Area. There’s mossy logs, streams, fern covered hillsides and giant redwood trees.

Insect analysis art
This is the first video in a series of experimental videos I will be putting online over time. I made the video by using a video microscope and collected insects. The microscope’s rack focus is used to get an interesting effect.
